You can manage your Search Bar Pro subscription directly from the Plans & Billing page in the app. This is where you upgrade, downgrade, or adjust your search volume.
How to Upgrade to Pro
- Open the Plans & Billing page in the app
- On the Pro plan card, use the slider to select your desired monthly search volume
- Click Upgrade to Pro
- Shopify will show you a confirmation page with the price. Approve the charge to activate your subscription.
Once approved, your plan updates immediately. You will have access to all Pro features and your new monthly search limit right away.
Adjusting Your Search Volume
If you are already on the Pro plan and need more or fewer monthly searches:
- Go to Plans & Billing
- Move the slider to your new desired search volume
- Click Update plan
- Approve the updated charge on the Shopify confirmation page
The price adjusts based on the number of searches you select. You can scale from 500 to 1,000,000 monthly searches.
How to Downgrade to Free
If you want to switch back to the Free plan:
- Go to Plans & Billing
- Click Switch to Free on the Free plan card
- Confirm the downgrade in the modal that appears
When you downgrade, you keep access to Pro features until the end of your current billing period. After that, your plan switches to Free with 50 monthly searches, and advanced analytics features will no longer be available.
Where to Find Billing Information
The Plans & Billing page shows:
- Your current plan name and price
- Monthly search usage (how many searches you have used vs your limit)
- A usage progress bar
- Billing period dates
All billing is handled through Shopify. Charges appear on your regular Shopify invoice.
